garbagecan.Andwhenmydaughter,Olivia,wasbomthreeyearslater,yetanotherpackofcigsbit

thedust.

Ievenbeganworkingout-liftingweightsandrunningfivedaysaweek,rainorshine.Ilost

fortypoundsanddevelopedastrongbody,butIwasneverabletodefeatthosecigarettes.

Smokingisadangeroushabit,whichconfusesyourbrain.Subconsciously,youknowcigarettes

aredeadly-buteverycellinyourbodyscreamsoutforthatnicotine,disturbingyourjudgment.So

Ijustkeptsmoking,thelifeslowlyandinvisiblybeingsuckedrightoutofme.

OnedaythewillpowerIhadlackedarrivedsuddenlyfromamostunexpectedplace:apure

cornerofmyson'smind.

AsCassiewasdrivingmysonhomefromkindergarten,theypassedacemetery(墓地)andCole

askedunexpectedly,caMom,whafsundertombstones?99

shine.Ilostfortypoundsanddevelopedarock-hardphysique,butIneverwasabletooutrunthose

cigarettes.

Smokingisaninsidioushabit;itscramblesyourbrain.Rationally,youknowcigarettesare

lethal-buteverycellinyourbodyscreamsoutforthatnicotine,skewingjudgmentandpriorities.

SoIkeptpuffingaway,thelifeslowlyandinvisiblybeingsuckedrightoutofme.

AsCassiewasdrivingColehomefromkindergarten,theypassedacemetery,whichprompted

tryingtothinkofadelicateanswer.Realizingtherewasnodelicateanswer,shebluntlysaid,"Dead

Cassiewasspeechless,stunnedbyCole'sintuitiveness.Then,justasquicklyashehadexploded.
