U2Bodylanguage語法,詞匯與練習(xí)

一、動(dòng)詞-ing形式作主語

作主語的動(dòng)詞-ing形式具有名詞的特征,有時(shí)又稱為動(dòng)名詞。

1.動(dòng)詞-ing形式作主語時(shí),謂語動(dòng)詞用單數(shù);

/當(dāng)作主語的-ing短語太長時(shí),常用it作形式主語,而把-ing短語置于句子后

部。

注意:在下列句式中常用動(dòng)詞-ing短語作主語。

Itisnouse/nogood/useless/senseless/fun/nice/awasteoftime+doing.

二、動(dòng)詞-ing形式作賓語

動(dòng)詞-ing形式作賓語時(shí)常跟在一些特殊的動(dòng)詞或動(dòng)詞短語的后面,如:

動(dòng)詞:admit,appreciate,avoid,consider,delay,dislike,enjoy,finish,forgive,imagine,

keep,mind,miss,practise,resist,suggest等

短語:can'thelp,feellike,giveup,putoff,beworth等

注意:

1.allow,advise,forbid,permit等詞后面可以直接跟動(dòng)詞-ing形式作賓語,也可以

接sb.todo結(jié)構(gòu)o

如:Theydon'tallowsmoking/ustosmokeinthemeetingroom.他們不允許在會(huì)議

室吸煙。

2.forget,remember,stop,regret,try,mean,goon等后接動(dòng)詞-ing形式和不定式的

含義有所不同。如:

Iregrettedmakingthespeechatthemeeting.我后悔在會(huì)議上作了發(fā)言。

Iregrettotellyouthatyouarefired.我很遺憾地告訴你,你被解雇了。

3.need,require,want作“需要”講時(shí),后面可以接動(dòng)詞-ing的主動(dòng)式或不定式的被

動(dòng)式,其含義相同。如:

Mybikeneedsrepairing/toberepaired.我的自行車需要修理。

beinterestedin,giveup,thinkabout,suchas,feellike,insiston,

thekeyto,preferto,lookforwardto,

be/getusedto(習(xí)慣于),taketo,payattentionto,inadditionto...

三、動(dòng)詞-ing形式作表語

動(dòng)詞-ing形式作表語的用法可以分為兩種:一種是用來說明主語是什么,相

當(dāng)于名詞;一種是說明主語的性質(zhì)和特征,相當(dāng)于形容詞,前面可以用very,quite

等副詞修飾。

四、動(dòng)詞-ing形式作狀語

1.動(dòng)詞-ing形式作狀語時(shí)與句子的主語之間是主動(dòng)關(guān)系,常用來表示時(shí)間、原

因、結(jié)果、條件、方式、伴隨等意義。如:

Hearingthegoodnews,hejumpedwithjoy.聽到這個(gè)好消息,他高興得跳了起來。

(表示時(shí)間)

Notknowinghertelephonenumber,Icouldn'tringherup.由于不矢口道她的電話號(hào)

碼,我無法打電話給她。(表示原因)

Hermotherdied,leavingherwithfouryoungerbrothersandsisters.她母親死了,拋

下她和四個(gè)妹妹。(表示結(jié)果)

Workinghard,youwillsucceed.努力工作,你就會(huì)成功。(表示條件)

Mr.GreensatatthetablereadingChinaDaily.格林先生坐在桌子旁邊看《中國日

報(bào)》。(表示伴隨)

3、動(dòng)名詞的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)作主語和賓語

什么是動(dòng)名詞的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)?指物主代詞、名詞所有格是動(dòng)名詞邏輯上的主語、動(dòng)

名詞是其邏輯上的謂語。

(1)動(dòng)名詞復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)作主語

e.g.Yourcomingmadeushappy.

Yourfather'scookingisverygood.

(2)動(dòng)名詞的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)作賓語

e.g.Doyoumindmysmoking?

Myfriendinsistedonmystayinghere.
