designguideline(DG)

describesthedesigncriteria,calculationmethods,andapplicablestandardsrecom-

mendedforuseinperformanceandlifeanalysesofballandroller(rolling)bearingsforyawandpitchmotionsup-portinwindturbineapplications.Theformulaepresentedhereforrollingbearinganalyticalmethodsandbearing-liferatingsareconsistentwithmethodscurrentlyusedbywindturbinedesignersandrollingbearingmanufacturers.
