marketsarerepricinglong-termratesamidpersistentfiscalpressuresandevolvingpolicyexpectations.

ResilientlendingsupportH2UKCREoutlook.UKCRElendingremainedresilientinJulyat

£1.8bn.TheBoE’sQ2CreditConditionsSurveyshowsbankshaveeasedavailabilityforthepast18

months,andthebalanceoflendersplanningtoimproveavailabilityoverthenext3monthsroseto

34.2%,thehighestsince2007.Withcreditimproving,lendingshouldsupportinvestment.
