i.熟練掌握序數(shù)詞的構(gòu)成和基本用法

序數(shù)詞

i.表示事物的順序的數(shù)詞叫做序數(shù)詞。它的作用相當(dāng)于名詞或形容詞，可作主語(yǔ)、賓語(yǔ)、定語(yǔ)

和表語(yǔ)。

2.序數(shù)詞的構(gòu)成：

(1)第一：first第二：second第三：third

(2)第四至第十九均在相應(yīng)的基數(shù)詞后加-th,但第五(fifth)和第十二(twelve)均把基數(shù)詞

five(五)和twelve(十二)詞尾的ve改為f,再加-th?；鶖?shù)詞八(eight)的序數(shù)詞直接在eight后加-h,

即eighth,九(nine)的序數(shù)詞是將nine詞尾的e去掉，再加-th,即ninth。

(3)整十的序數(shù)詞是把對(duì)應(yīng)的基數(shù)詞的最后一個(gè)字母y變?yōu)閕e再加-th。

(4)表示“幾十幾”的基數(shù)詞變序數(shù)詞時(shí)，只將個(gè)位數(shù)變?yōu)樾驍?shù)詞，十位數(shù)不變。

3.序數(shù)詞前一般要加定冠詞the表示順序。

4.序數(shù)詞常用作名詞的定語(yǔ)，但當(dāng)名詞前已有物主代詞等限定詞時(shí)，則不再用the

5.表示英語(yǔ)中的分?jǐn)?shù)時(shí)，分子用基數(shù)詞，寫(xiě)在前面，分母用序數(shù)詞，寫(xiě)在后面。當(dāng)分子超過(guò)1

時(shí)，分母的序數(shù)詞后要加“s”。

6.序數(shù)詞前有時(shí)也可用不定冠詞a/an,這時(shí)不再表示在具體范圍內(nèi)的“第幾”，而是表示在原有

基礎(chǔ)上的“又一個(gè)，另一個(gè)”。

7.表示編號(hào)時(shí)，常把基數(shù)詞放在名詞后面來(lái)表示順序，相當(dāng)于“the+序數(shù)詞+名詞”。
