Thepaperwillhighlightthedifferencesincateringconcept,cateringcontent,thewayofeatingandcookingaswellastablemannersandtablewares.TheconcreteanalysisofthesecateringculturaldifferenceswillhelpustohaveabetterunderstandingofthecateringcultureinWesternandEasternworld,promotingthecultureexchangeaswellasavoidingtheembarrassmentsincross-culturalmunication.Itcanalsopromoteeconomicintegrationandeconomicglobalizationaswellasculturalexchangeintheworldwide.

ThereexistmanydifferencesinWesternworldandEasternworldaswellasmanydiverses.Andmanyoftheconventionshavecausedjokes,whichisobjective.CateringcultureisacrucialpartofInternationalculture.TheculturaldifferencesbetweentheEasternandWesternworldisjustoneofthemanifestationsofthecross-culturalmunication.ResearchingandanalyzingtheculturaldifferencesbetweentheEasternandWesternworldcanhelppeopletoaccepttheWesterncatering

culture,topayaattentiontotheiretiquettes,andtohavehaveabetterholdofournationalculturalcharacteristicswhenweareseekingmonwhileputtingasidethedifferences.Inthisway,wecanachievemasteryandhaveafarbetterunderstandingofthecharacteristicsoftheWesterncateringculture.Atthesametime,wecansumupourowncateringcharacteristicsandplementeachotherinordertoimproveandenhancethequalityofourcatering.Meanwhile,wecancarryforwardtheChineseexcellentcateringculturetraditionsandconstantlyupdatedthemandpromotetheirdevelopment.Wecanalsoenhancepeople'sadaptiveabilityincross-culturalmunicationandmakepeoplenotfeelstronglytheculturalconflictsinthemunication,thusembarrassmentsaswellasmisunderstandingswhichproduceduetoculturaldifferencescanbeavoidedeffectively.Inthisway,wecannotonlypromotetheculturalexchangeandeconomiccooperationbutalsowecanpromotethemondevelopmentoftheEasternandWesternculture.

1.介紹

俗語道：“民以食為天”。飲食文化是世界各民族文化的重要組成部分。中西方國家由于深受不同的社會(huì)文化、歷史文化和各種社會(huì)背景的影響，從而導(dǎo)致兩種不同文化的產(chǎn)生，中西飲食文化的不同是中西方民族文化差異的重要組成部分。本文著重論述中西方飲食文化在飲食觀念，飲食內(nèi)容，飲食方式，烹飪方法，用餐禮儀和用餐器具方面的不同，剖析中西方飲食文化差異的詳細(xì)表現(xiàn)，有助于我們更好地了解中西方飲食文化差異，從而促進(jìn)中西方文化溝通，避開雙方在溝通中的尷尬，促進(jìn)經(jīng)濟(jì)一體化和全球化的進(jìn)展。同時(shí)對(duì)世界范圍內(nèi)的跨文化溝通起到促進(jìn)作用。

2.該論題的國內(nèi)討論現(xiàn)狀

中國飲食文化討論熱潮興起于20世紀(jì)80年月。中國人注意“天人合一”，西方人注意“以人為本”。國內(nèi)關(guān)于中西方飲食的討論有寧靜的《解讀美國》；李海芳的《淺析中西方飲食文化差異》；趙洪恩，李寶席的《中國傳統(tǒng)文化通倫》；徐先玲,李祖狀的《西方飲食文化》；徐先玲,李祖狀的《中國飲食文化》等等。馬紅梅（2024）指出飲食是人類生存必不行少的條

件，是最重要不過的大事，飲食也是一種文化，而且是整個(gè)文化結(jié)構(gòu)中的一個(gè)重要組成部分。就中西方的飲食而言，也存在各種各樣的差異，而且我們還可以透過飲食來洞察中西方人在民族形體、民族心理、民族性格等層面的差異。李媛（2024）從飲食觀念、飲食對(duì)象以及飲食方式等幾方面對(duì)西方飲食文化做了討論，由此看出中西方在飲食文化方面的差異，民族性格以及價(jià)值觀念等方面的特點(diǎn)。

3.該論題的國外討論現(xiàn)狀

國外關(guān)于中西方飲食文化差異，Whittemore,和AHWu-Williams,曾做過相關(guān)的討論，出版了Diet,physicalactivity,andcolorectalcanceramongChineseinNorthAmericaandChina.SShapouri也TRosen也對(duì)全球部分國家的飲食方面綻開過討論與調(diào)查.，并發(fā)表了

4.本論文的主要討論內(nèi)容、方法和討論意義

本文采納探究性討論法、信息討論法、文獻(xiàn)討論法、對(duì)比分析法、以及歸納總結(jié)法等方法。對(duì)中西方飲食文化在飲食觀念，飲食內(nèi)容，飲食方式，烹飪方法，用餐禮儀和用餐器具方面的不同進(jìn)行討論與分析。

中西方的文化有著許多的差異，也存在著許多分歧，其中的許多習(xí)俗也產(chǎn)生了許多笑話，這是客觀形成的，飲食文化是世界文化的重要組成部分，中西方文化差異是跨文化交際現(xiàn)象眾多表現(xiàn)形式之一。通過對(duì)中西方飲食文化差異的討論和分析，可以培育人們樂觀地接受西方的飲食文化，留意西方的禮儀規(guī)范，從而在求同存異的基礎(chǔ)上更好地把握本民族的文化特征，找出可以融會(huì)貫穿的地方，更好地了解西方國家的飲食特點(diǎn)，同時(shí)也總結(jié)我們自己的飲食特征，取長補(bǔ)短，摒棄我們中的糟粕，改善和提高我們的飲食質(zhì)量，同時(shí)可以弘揚(yáng)中華民族優(yōu)秀的飲食文化傳統(tǒng)，使之不斷得到更新和進(jìn)展。增加人們?cè)诳缥幕浑H時(shí)的適應(yīng)力量，使人們?cè)诮浑H中不會(huì)感受受到劇烈的文化沖突，有效避開雙方在溝通中的尷尬及雙方在交際中由于文化差異而產(chǎn)生的不理解或誤會(huì)，從而促進(jìn)中西方文化文化溝通與經(jīng)濟(jì)合作，促進(jìn)東西方的文化的共同進(jìn)展。
