事國際工作的有關(guān)人員就需要學(xué)習(xí)一些旅途用語和了解一些飛行常識，以便順利

到達(dá)工程施工所在國。

一般說來，一個項目的人員往往分批而行，由于人多事雜，大家要相互照應(yīng),

注意帶好自己的物品，尤其是護(hù)照(Passport)和機(jī)票(Ticket)。登機(jī)前，要到

有關(guān)航空公司的機(jī)場服務(wù)臺(Check-incounter)憑機(jī)票和護(hù)照領(lǐng)取登記卡

(BoardingCard),并辦理托運(yùn)行李手續(xù)。注意，在行李標(biāo)簽上一定要填寫清楚你

的姓名和將行李托運(yùn)到的地方，填寫名字時，要注意英語的Givenname是‘名"，

而LastName/FamilyName/Surname則指的是“姓”，以免取行李時遇到麻煩。

航空公司對免費(fèi)托運(yùn)的行李量有一定的限額(baggageallowance),一般為七十

1.Speaking.：這是打電話時的用語。當(dāng)接電話的人正好是對方要找的人時，他

就可以說“Speaking.”，意思是“我就是”。

2.“People'sPulse:"人民快報”，一報刊名稱。

3.ahouseforrent:一座待出租房子，英語也可以說"ahousetolet”.

4.Ididhaveahouseforrent.:前些時候我的確有一座房子要出租。句中的"did”

用語加強(qiáng)語氣。例如：Docomeandseeuswhenyouhavetime.（有空一起來

看我們呀。）Idohopethatthiscanbesettledinanamicableway.（我真誠的希

5.letout:在這里是“出租”的意思。

6.Youcouldcheckwithhim.:你可以找他再核實一下。check在這里是‘'核實",

這是一種很看禮貌的問話方式，相當(dāng)于Couldyoutellmeyourfriend,sname

8.Isitstillavailable?:這座房子是否還在有待出租？Available:在這兒的

意思是“仍可租得到的”。

10.onthefirstfloor:這兒指的是"在低二層"，是英國用法，注意，英美人表示

樓層的說法不同，例如，"一層"英國人說thegroundfloor,而美國人則說

thefirstfloor,"二層"英國人說thefirstfloor,二美國人說thesecondfloor,

依此類推。

11.onemorething這是口語中常用的表達(dá)法，意思是“還有一件事（要說）"英

語也可以說onemorethingtomention.

18.Let'sgetdowntobusiness.:咱們談?wù)}吧。getdowntosth意思是“著手做

某事”，“開始認(rèn)真對待某事”，例如：getdowntowork（開始做工作）。

19.bidfor:為而投標(biāo)例如：bidforanirrigationproject（為一個灌溉工程

項目而投標(biāo)）,bidforacementworks（為一個水泥廠項目而投標(biāo)）。與該詞組

有相同意思的還有tenderfor.

20.prefabricatedhouse裝配式房屋，活動房屋prefabricatedhouse在口語中常

用prefab來代替。Prefabricated這個詞在工程實施中常常使用，與它搭配

的詞很多，例如：prefabricatedconstruction（裝配式施工），prefabricatedpile（預(yù)
