discoverywhiletryingtoseeifanMLmachine,aformofartificialintelligence,wouldbeableto

identifywhichkindofmusicwasplayingbasedonhowtheparticipantsofthestudyweredancing.

Intheirstudy,theresearchers'motioncaptured73participantswiththeAItechnologywhilethey

dancedtoeightdifferentmusicgenres:electronica,jazz,metal,pop.rap,reggae,country,andblues.

Theonlyinstructionthedancersweregivenwastomoveinawaythatfeltnatural.

Butwhatitcoulddowasmoreshocking.Thecomputerwasabletocorrectlyidentifywhich

musiconeof(heparticipantswasdancingto94percentofthetime,regardlessofwhatkindofmusic

wasplaying,basedonthepatternofaperson'sdancestyle.Itwasthemovementofparticipants,
