2.EvaluationbyStudentsNowadaysagrowingnumberofuniversitieshavelaunchedthe"StudentEvaluationProject"inwhichstudentsareinvitedtoevaluatethejobperformanceoftheirteachers.Inmostcasesstudentsgetevaluationformsattheendofasemesterandareaskedtofillthemoutanonymously.Therearevariedopinionsamongteachersanduniversityauthoritiesaboutthiseducationalreformprogram.Universityadministratorsconsiderstudentevaluationtobeaneffectivemeanstodisciplineteachersandhelpenhancetheteachingquality.Howevermanyteachersfeeluncomfortableevenresentfulaboutitbecausedifferentstudentsmayhavedifferentstandardsbywhichtojudgetheirteachers.Intheiropiniontheevaluationresultsmaybeinfluencedbyindividualstudent'spersonalfeelingsandthereforecan'tbecountedonasanobjectivereflectionoftheteachingperformance.Asforstudentstheirattitudesarealsovaried:someliketobegivenavoicetoexpresstheirviewssomedon'tunderstanditwhilesomesimplydon'tcare.AsawholeStudentEvaluationProjecttookaboldstepintheuniversityeducationreformprocesswhichencouragesstudentstogetmoreactivelyinvolvedintheclassteachingthuspositivelycreatinganinteractiveacademicatmosphere.Neverthelessmanyotherproblemsmayarisecorrespondingly.Forinstancesomestudentsmaybetoocriticalaboutacertainprofessorjustbecausetheprofessorisnotfunorheistoostrictwhichmighthaveanegativeimpactontheimpartialityofevaluationitselfmisleadingthereformorientation.EvaluationbyStudentsNowadays,agrowingnumberofuniversitieshavelaunchedthe"StudentEvaluationProject",inwhichstudentsareinvitedtoevaluatethejobperformanceoftheirteachers.Inmostcases,studentsgetevaluationformsattheendofasemesterandareaskedtofillthemoutanonymously.Tgram.Universityadministratorsconsiderstudentevaluationtobeaneffectivemeanstodisciplineteachersandhelpenhancetheteachingquality.However,manyteachersfeeluncomfortable,evenresentfulaboutit,becausedifferentstudentsmayhavedifferentstandardsbywhichtojudgetheirteachers.Intheiropinion,theevaluationresultsmaybeinfluencedbyindividualstudent'spersonalfeelingsandthereforecan'tbecountedonasanobjectivereflectionoftheteachingperformance.Asforstudents,theirattitudesarealsovaried:someliketobegivenavoicetoexpresstheirviews,somedon'tunderstandit,whilesomesimplydon'tcare.Asawhole,StudentEvaluationPcess,whichencouragesstudentstogetmoreactivelyinvolvedintheclassteaching,thuspositivelycreatinganinteractiveacademicatmosphere.Nevertheless,many,otherproblemsmayarisecorrespondingly.Forinstance,somestudentsmaybetoocriticalaboutacertainprofessorjustbecausetheprofessorisnotfunorheistoostrict,whichmighthaveanegativeimpactontheimpartialityofevaluationitself,misleadingthereform.orientation.
