alwaysabadideatowatchafilmofabookyoulove”.Post-readingP1.Readingabookandwatchingafilmaretwoverydifferentexperiences,butit'snormaltohavehighexpectationswhenafilmofafavouritebookismade.讀書和看電影是兩種截然不同的體驗(yàn)。如果人們最喜歡的書籍被翻拍成電影,他們對(duì)電影的期待值自然更高,這種現(xiàn)象很正常。TherearemanytimesIhavebeenpessimisticaboutorevendisappointedbyafilmofabookIlove.

不止一次,我喜歡的書籍拍成電影,我都不看好,甚至很失望。bepessimisticabout對(duì)悲觀

involveoneselfinsth參與/熱衷于/沉迷于某事強(qiáng)調(diào)的是人時(shí),可用itis/was...who/that...強(qiáng)調(diào)句型。④it指代toadapttoanewformThiscanactuallybeadisadvantagebecausetheymaybetooclosetothematerialandfinditdifficulttoadapttoanewform.但這其實(shí)是一個(gè)弊端,因?yàn)樽髡弑救丝赡苓^于忠于書中內(nèi)容,很難將其改編成一種新的形式。Atothertimestheyarenot,andthereareinstanceswherewritershavebeenveryunsatisfiedwiththefilmversionsoftheirwork;StephenKingisanexampleofthis.有時(shí)作者本人并不是電影編劇,于是出現(xiàn)了作者對(duì)自己作品所拍攝的電影版本非常不滿意的情況。史蒂芬?金就是這樣。EvenmoreextremewasnovelistJ.D.Salinger,who
