數(shù)控磨削加工中砂輪磨損量的檢測(cè)方法數(shù)控磨床在工件磨削過(guò)程中,不可避免的會(huì)產(chǎn)生砂輪的磨損現(xiàn)象,為了保證加工精度,需要及時(shí)地對(duì)砂輪的直徑變化或磨損量進(jìn)行檢測(cè)。由于磨削加工是一種高精度的加工方法,限于較高測(cè)量精度的要求,目前還難以直接對(duì)砂輪的直徑進(jìn)行精密的在線測(cè)量。同樣,由于砂輪表面砂粒的影響,對(duì)于砂輪磨損量的高精度檢測(cè)也是一件困難的事情。因此,目前在數(shù)控磨床上還難以實(shí)現(xiàn)砂輪磨損的自動(dòng)補(bǔ)償。針對(duì)這種情況,本文結(jié)合數(shù)控曲軸磨削加工的研究,提出了一種基于聲發(fā)射檢測(cè)技術(shù)的砂輪磨損測(cè)量及誤差補(bǔ)償?shù)姆椒ā<蠢冒惭b在砂輪架上的聲發(fā)射傳感器,測(cè)量砂輪相對(duì)于機(jī)床某一基準(zhǔn)的相對(duì)位置,通過(guò)測(cè)量該相對(duì)位置的變化,間接地檢測(cè)砂輪的磨損量,并將測(cè)量結(jié)果反饋至數(shù)控系統(tǒng),從而實(shí)現(xiàn)砂輪磨損的自動(dòng)補(bǔ)償。1砂輪磨損量的檢測(cè)方法考慮到砂輪表面砂粒的影響以及加工環(huán)境的影響,采用激光測(cè)量等方法均難以實(shí)現(xiàn)砂輪磨損量的在線檢測(cè)。近幾年在磨削狀態(tài)監(jiān)控中,聲發(fā)射技術(shù)已成為廣泛采用的一種方法1。切削過(guò)程中的聲發(fā)射是重要的切削現(xiàn)象之一,所謂聲發(fā)射現(xiàn)象是固體材料由于結(jié)構(gòu)變化引起應(yīng)變能的快速釋放而產(chǎn)生的彈性波,簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)AE(Acoustic Emission)。在磨削加工中,當(dāng)磨削加工處于一種穩(wěn)定狀態(tài)時(shí),AE信號(hào)并不發(fā)生變化。只有當(dāng)磨削狀態(tài)發(fā)生變化時(shí),聲發(fā)射信號(hào)才隨之發(fā)生變化。當(dāng)砂輪與工件相靠近時(shí),砂輪會(huì)有高頻聲發(fā)射信號(hào)產(chǎn)生,安裝在砂輪架上的聲發(fā)射傳感器信號(hào)會(huì)明顯增強(qiáng),通過(guò)試驗(yàn)研究可以確定一個(gè)閾值,根據(jù)該閾值可以確定砂輪與工件的相對(duì)位置?;谠撛恚紤]將聲發(fā)射傳感器安裝在砂輪架上,用于測(cè)量砂輪磨削過(guò)程中的聲發(fā)射信號(hào)。金剛石筆作為砂輪定位的基準(zhǔn),安裝在磨床床身的某一位置,當(dāng)需要測(cè)量砂輪的磨損量時(shí),數(shù)控系統(tǒng)控制砂輪靠近金剛石筆,當(dāng)砂輪接近金剛石筆時(shí),聲發(fā)射信號(hào)增強(qiáng),通過(guò)試驗(yàn)研究,可以確定一個(gè)判定砂輪與金剛石筆相對(duì)位置的閾值。當(dāng)聲發(fā)射信號(hào)超過(guò)預(yù)先設(shè)置的閾值時(shí),由聲發(fā)射信號(hào)處理裝置向數(shù)控系統(tǒng)的PLC發(fā)出開(kāi)關(guān)量信號(hào),機(jī)床數(shù)控系統(tǒng)則記錄下當(dāng)前砂輪的位置,并將砂輪的當(dāng)前位置與以前的位置相比較,計(jì)算出砂輪磨損量的補(bǔ)償值。進(jìn)一步通過(guò)數(shù)控軟件在數(shù)控系統(tǒng)中實(shí)現(xiàn)砂輪磨損的自動(dòng)補(bǔ)償。上述方法是否可行,主要取決于能否找到一個(gè)能夠準(zhǔn)確判斷金剛石筆與砂輪相對(duì)位置的閾值,當(dāng)砂輪沒(méi)有磨損時(shí),利用該閾值判斷的金剛石筆與砂輪相對(duì)位置不應(yīng)發(fā)生變化或具有很小的位置測(cè)量誤差。為了說(shuō)明這一問(wèn)題,對(duì)砂輪磨損量對(duì)加工誤差的影響b(以此確定位置測(cè)量的允許誤差)以及所提出方法的位置測(cè)量精度進(jìn)行了試驗(yàn)研究。2試驗(yàn)研究為了確定聲發(fā)射技術(shù)應(yīng)用于砂輪磨損量測(cè)量的測(cè)量精度,我們?cè)谌鹗縎tuder精密萬(wàn)能外圓磨床上進(jìn)行了試驗(yàn)研究。試驗(yàn)時(shí),將金剛石修整筆固定在磨床尾架上,砂輪的最小進(jìn)給量1m,砂輪粒度為80、中軟、紅剛玉、直徑300mm,砂輪線速度為45m/s,頭架轉(zhuǎn)速為50r/min。聲發(fā)射信號(hào)監(jiān)測(cè)系統(tǒng)選用美國(guó)許密特工業(yè)公司的L42004型聲發(fā)射控制機(jī),其聲發(fā)射信號(hào)工作頻率范圍為50kHz950kHz,響應(yīng)時(shí)間小于1ms。試驗(yàn)時(shí),首先控制砂輪的進(jìn)給運(yùn)動(dòng),使其靠近金剛石修整筆,并在聲發(fā)射控制機(jī)上設(shè)置一個(gè)閾值。然后將砂輪分別以5m、10m、15m、20m作為砂輪退刀量退回砂輪,再重新控制砂輪緩慢進(jìn)給,靠近金剛石修整筆,直到聲發(fā)射控制機(jī)監(jiān)控屏幕上顯示達(dá)到閾值,立即停止砂輪的進(jìn)給,記錄各次的進(jìn)給量。以上試驗(yàn)過(guò)程不斷重復(fù),從而測(cè)量出聲發(fā)射傳感器測(cè)量金剛石修整筆與砂輪相對(duì)位置的重復(fù)測(cè)量精度。表1給出了試驗(yàn)結(jié)果。由表1可知,誤差值在-5+5m之間,其值小于允許的理論計(jì)算誤差值6m。因此,本文所提出的方法可以用于砂輪磨損量的檢測(cè)。表1金剛石修整筆與砂輪相對(duì)位置的測(cè)量誤差試驗(yàn)次數(shù) 1234567891011121314退刀量(m)555555510101010101010進(jìn)刀量(m)567855510111210101110誤差(m)01230000120010試驗(yàn)次數(shù)1516171819202122232425262728退刀量(m)1515151515151520202020202020進(jìn)刀量(m)1315141415131420191816161717誤差(m)-20-1-10-2-10-1-2-4-4-3-33結(jié)論本文基于聲發(fā)射檢測(cè)技術(shù),給出了數(shù)控曲軸磨削砂輪磨損的間接檢測(cè)方法,該方法同樣適于平面磨削、外圓磨削等情況,其區(qū)別僅在于要求的檢測(cè)精度不同。實(shí)際試驗(yàn)表明,所提出的方法檢測(cè)誤差在-5+5m之間,可以滿(mǎn)足高精度磨削加工的需要。Test Method of Grinding Wheel Wear in CNC GrindingCNC grinding machine in grinding process of workpiece, which is caused by abrasion wheel, in order to ensure the precision needed in a timely manner the diameter of the wheel to detect changes or wear.
